4 Reasons You Should Attend The Great Escape This Year

1. It’s FUN! Shopping, manicures, massages, food, haircuts, Style Show, and did I say shopping yet? Every year that I have attended this event I have had a blast.
2. Broken China Jewelry.  I’ve mentioned shopping already but this is your chance to get that special person in your life a meaningful, hard to find gift. 3. It’s for a good cause. One in four women in the United States is or has been a victim of domestic abuse. One in six women has been or will be a victim of rape. The proceeds from this event directly benefit the Women’s Shelter’s programs for Domestic Abuse and Rape.  This is a difficult subject to talk about, but attending this event is an easy way to make a difference in someone’s life. This is an easy way to promote awareness of domestic abuse.
4. You need a break. Let’s face it. Many of us are so busy with our lives that we don’t take the time to relax. We’re so busy. When I’m shopping and I find an item I want, I often end up putting it back and getting something that is more practical or something for another family member. We often put other people first. The important thing to remember is that the better care you take of yourself, the better care you will take of your loved ones. When you pamper yourself at the Great Escape, you’re helping someone else at the same time, so you have no excuse to put anything back and no excuse not to go for that manicure/massage/haircut.
